Small Business,

the Heart of West Concord

Motivated by a conversation with my upholstery teacher, Kevin Kennedy, about acquisitions by developers of several commercial properties in West Concord, MA,  and the implications for small business owners like him, I  extended an invitation to local small business owners to participate in a short documentary film project.  As a Concord resident I was well aware that the face of West Concord was about to change, I wanted to preserve a visual and audio record of West Concord as I have known it. The film was completed in the spring of 2010.
